Buying a Home With No Money Down Using USDA Loan   What are the basic guidelines for USDA loans? 

USDA does not 'approve' homes. Rather, the property in question must be eligible for USDA financing. To be eligible for USDA financing, homes must be located in 'rural' areas. By definition, the usually means an area with less dense  population ( However, there are exceptions to the rule).

How can I get a list of eligible USDA homes? 

There are two types of properties. Homes that were foreclosed upon the USDA rural development department  and, properties that are located inside an eligible area  that are approved for financing.
